An award winning visual storyteller with over 15 years’ experience in commercial photography. My wide ranging experience of different fields are linked by their demand for social skills, empathy and effective communication. I am officially certified with Arri camera systems and hold a Masters in Cinematography (Distinction) from Bournemouth University.
My first proper short film, Emotional City, was screened at the Venice Biennale 2021. I was responsible for camera, editing and post production. As my focus has shifted more towards moving imagery I have gathered experience of different digital cinema cameras from Arri and Red to Canon and Sony. I'm a Blackmagic certified colour grader and now complete most projects exclusively in Davinci Resolve, having previously centred around Premiere Pro and After Effects.
I am familiar in collaborating with art directors and models and have worked on projects for many top level clients, including blue chip companies and parliament. I have extensive experience across different photographic disciplines from commercial and events to fine art. In exhibiting my personal projects on a national scale I have learnt to manage complex logistics, liaise with galleries and sponsors, build websites and handle marketing and publicity.
In 2012 my first major solo exhibition ‘Man Thou Art a Wonderful Animal’ was hosted by some of the largest and most significant venues in the UK. It was sponsored by Metro Imaging and Phase One.
